Meet Dozer ? an 8 y/o American Bulldog. Dozer came from a not so good situation. He was chained to a pile of trash, just existing. When he was rescued, he was beyond grateful. His first bath was like a spa day to him. He literally dozed off lol <br/><br/>Dozer is fully vetted, heartworm negative and on prevention. He will still need to be neutered but it’s scheduled. Dozer is also blind. Vet says he can see silhouettes or shadows during the day but at night, he can’t see anything. He’s kennel and house trained and the absolute sweet boy. He loves everyone! Dogs included. He just wants to be where you are and get all the love he can! Covington Animal Rescue Effort's Adoption Policy

Adoption Process: 1. Go to www.covingtonanimalrescueeffort.com to fill out an application. Follow the adoption Tab instructions. 2. The Adoption Coordinator will contact you via email or phone call within 48 to 72 hours. 3. All references will be checked. 4. A local meet and greet can be set up prior to an adoption. 5. If the dog is not a match, a CARE member may suggest a different dog that would be better suited to your family. CARE reserves the right to not adopt if not in the best interest of the dog. 6. Once the adoption is confirmed a $150.00 adoption fee is paid prior to the adoption of the CARE dog if you are local. If you are needing transport, the adopter will pay the additional health certificate fees and the transport fee.
