Downy's Story

Downy baby is ready for Forever ❣️❣️
It has been a journey of healing for Downy. Her sweet, preserving soul made it back to being healthy & can officially be adopted 🥹
Here’s what her foster mom Stef had to say:
I could go on and on about how amazingly resilient this girl is but the proof is in her journey. From starved and knocking on deaths door to an absolute princess is far from an understatement. Downy had a long road to recovery but is still somehow the nicest dog I’ve possibly ever met (and that’s a lot being a dog trainer and caregiver for over 25 years)
Downy is good with other dogs with proper intros, but has not yet been cat tested. She’s fully vaccinated, spayed and ready to find her forever home. Now that she has her energy back she’s quite playful, loves walks and car rides but still loves her naps! She does have some special needs that require 2-3 baths a week for skin sensitivity/issues as well as a special hydrolyzed protein diet and quarterly allergy shots.
-Senior
-Crate trained
-Good in the house & will sleep in bed
-Potty trained
-Spayed
-UTD vaccines
-Heartworm negative
-Microchipped
-Adopter must be able to perform home bathing
-Hydrolyzed diet required
-Loves toys
-Dog safe
