Douglas is an approximately 10-month-old pup originally from Puerto Rico, weighing about 33 pounds. He’s a sweet, expressive boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. One of his favorite things to do is “talk” — he’ll happily share his opinions and excitement with adorable little sounds that make you smile.<br/><br/>He’s a world class snuggler and truly loves being close to his person. Whether it’s curling up on the couch or resting at your feet, Douglas thrives on connection and affection. He also enjoys chewing on a good bone and heading out for walks where he can explore the world by your side.<br/><br/>Douglas is smart and eager to learn. He already knows sit, stay, “leave it,” and come — a great foundation for continued training. He does have some toy guarding issues when it comes to other dogs so we feel it might be best for him to be the only dog a home without small children. <br/><br/>Douglas is very loving and bonds deeply with his people. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t just want a home — he wants his person. He deserves to be the center of someone’s world, and in return, he’ll offer loyalty, companionship, and endless affection.<br/><br/>* Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like.<br/><br/>All dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
