Dougie

This is beautiful DOUGIE and he's such a good boy! He's a Basenji and Carolina mix who is just under 2 years old fully grown at 46 pounds! He has beautiful golden coloring and one brown eye and one blue eye which makes him even more special. As you can see in his pics and videos, Dougie is always smiling...he's really a happy dog who welcomes each day as a chance to have fun. <br/><br/>He's living with a great Foster family now who have other dogs so it's like doggie camp for him! He's a lover boy and wonderful with everyone he meets and other dogs too. He's also a smart cookie....we have lots of videos with him showing how he sits so politely waiting for his treats! And, when Dougie wants to go for a walk, he picks up his leash and prances around with it in his mouth :) It’s impossible not to smile! He is the ultimate medium-energy, happy-go-lucky boy—great with other dogs and everyone he meets. He'll be a great family dog and a great companion to adopters who like to go hiking or bring their pup on errands with them. <br/><br/>Dougie is a real good time and endlessly entertaining. Whoever adopts this wonderful boy will have a loyal companion and a lifetime of laughter! We're looking for a wonderful family who have a fenced yard so he can play and take lots snoozes in the sun. He'd do great with doggie siblings but could easily be a solo pup because he loves to hang our with his peeps. He's healthy, up to date on all his vaccinations and so ready to be part of a family!
