Please read the following information<br/>DOUGAL is in foster care in Houston,Texas<br/>The adoption fee includes the transportation <br/>If interested there is an application on our website<br/><br/>houstonshaggydogrescue.org <br/><br/>Dougal is a 68 lb approx 2 yr old Sheepadoodle per his Dna .. he did.test positive for heartrooms and has completed his treatment per the American Heartworm Society Protocols.. we usually find that the dogs test negative in 4 to 6 months..<br/>He is just the nicest dog, very easy going , no problems at all, hes very laid back , gets along with all of the other rescues and he is so good his foster forgets he is around . he’s does not like the heat of the day and will hang out inside in the air conditioning.. but in the later part of the day he lives to come outside and play with his buddies and eat his chew treats and chase the squirrels... he seems to be pretty well house and leash trained ,although he does pull on the leash and needs a strong hand .. he does need a fully fenced in and secure yard<br/><br/>there is an application on our website<br/>www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $600<br/><br/>We do not adopt to anyone with children under the age of 8 years.. <br/><br/>All of our dogs are spayed/neutered,microchipped , vaccines including Rabies,Dhpp,Bordatella and Canine Ingluenza and all are on monthly preventatives for Heartworms,Fleas/Ticks and Parasites<br/><br/>www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org

Adoption Application: Shaggy Dog Rescue wants to find the perfect home for all the dogs in our care. Therefore, we are very strict in our adoption policies. Steps in the adoption process: Fill out and return our adoption application After receiving your application, we would like to discuss with your veterinarian We will contact you to discuss the Adoptee, to see if we can make the perfect match After discussion, we will arrange a home visit for you to meet your prospective new family member & friend Upon agreement by all parties, sign adoption contract and give adoption donation for your Adoptee We do ask that for 3 months after adopting you email us photographs & progress reports of your new pet Complete the application process at www.houstonshaggydogrescue.org Submission of Application does not guarantee approval. NOTE: Shaggy Dog Rescue is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. The adoption fee is a donation to defray veterinarian cost of these rescued dogs. The fee is non-refundable and to be paid at the time of adoption. No exceptions. We reserve the right to refuse any adoption we feel is not in the best interest of the dog or the adopter.
