Doug's Story
Meet Doug! The most handsome German Shepherd/Collie mix you’ve ever seen. He was rescued from a kill shelter in California after being found abandoned under a trailer. You would never know that by his very mellow, sweet demeanor. He has been an angel with all the dogs, kids, cats, people, he’s met. He plays with other dogs for a little bit and then tends to find a toy to chew on or a person to snuggle with. He is not a high energy dog but does enjoy walks around to sniff and get fresh air. <br/><br/>Doug did have heartworm when we rescued him but he has received all his heartworm treatments at the vet and is being given the all clear soon. We can not express how amazing of a dog Doug is and how lucky any family would be to have him! He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped. Please apply on figzdogrescue.org
