He loves fetch (though he's still learning that the game works best when he actually brings the ball back). He's lived with toddlers and handled household chaos with patience and gentle enthusiasm. When guests arrive, he may greet them with excited jumps, but it's all love - he just hasn't learned that not everyone wants a pogo-stick hello.<br/>He's also house-trained, crate-trained, great on walks, and a perfect gentleman in the car. Doug is smart, eager to please, and settles in beautifully once he gets his initial excitement out.<br/><br/>Doug has lived peacefully with another dog and generally enjoys canine company, though he can have a "big personality" around confident or senior dogs who may not appreciate his playful energy.
