Dottie-Cincinnati, OH's Story

Meet Dottie, a beautiful 4 to 5-year-old Dalmatian girl in Cincinnati, OH, who is looking for her forever home. Dottie is a true velcro dog who adores her person and loves being part of the family. She is friendly with other dogs and people and has wonderful house manners. She is house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and obedience trained, and she rides beautifully in the car. Dottie enjoys sleeping inside and relaxing on the furniture, and she has done well with free range of the house. She came into rescue needing medical care, including treatment for parasites and body sores, and she is now ready to find the loving home she deserves.

Dottie would do best in a home without young children. Because she is not comfortable around very young children, an adult home or one with older, dog-savvy children would be the best fit for her. With the right environment and continued positive guidance, she is a wonderful companion. Dottie is currently not spayed and is not up to date on vaccinations, so her adopter will need to work with their veterinarian on getting her caught up. She eats a homemade diet and is happiest when she can be close to her person. If you're looking for a loving, loyal companion who will happily be your shadow, Dottie may be your girl.

Please copy & past the link below into your browser for our application:
https://www.jotform.com/form/243374218477059

Questions?
Email us at: info@savethedals.org or leave us a message at: 949-590-9935

**Disclaimer: None of our dogs have been DNA tested, so we cannot guaranty they are 100% full pure breeds.**

Save the Dalmatians and Others Canine Rescue's Adoption Policy
The first step in our adoption process is for the prospective adopter to complete our Adoption Application Questionnaire which helps us best match you with the the dog that would be most suited to your home environment and expectations. Email us at info@savethedals.org with the name of the dog that interests you and we will send you our Adoption Application Questionnaire. If based on the Application Questionnaire we think one of our dogs is a good match to your home environment and expectations, we will follow up with a phone call, advise you of the adoption fee, schedule a home visit if applicable, and arrange a meet and greet with the dog. Adopters are also required to sign our Adoption Contract; you will be provided a copy of the contract for you to review and ask questions before you adopt the dog. Note that we often have multiple applicants wanting to adopt the same dog. Our selection process is not based on whose application we receive first. It is based on who we believe will be the best match for the dog, allowing for the greatest success of a high quality, loving forever home, with the least likelihood of the dog needing to be returned to rescue. We commit to the life of each dog we rescue, such that at any point in the life of the dog if its adopter is no longer able to keep the dog, the adopter signs our adoption contract agreeing that they will return the dog to Save The Dalmatians and Others Canine Rescue. The dog is not to be turned into an animal shelter.
