Dottie's Story
Dottie is a sweet, 2-year-old Chihuahua weighing just 9 pounds. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through. This little Velcro pup wants nothing more than to be by your side—or even better, curled up in your lap! Dottie is doing great with her potty training and enjoys going outside. She walks nicely on a leash and loves keeping an eye out for squirrels during her strolls. While toys don't seem to interest her much, spending time with her people is her favorite pastime. Car rides can make Dottie a bit nervous, so she rides best when safely secured with a seat belt harness or in a crate. Because of her timid nature, Dottie would do best in a home with children age 10 and older who can respect her need to settle in at her own pace. Once she trusts you, you'll have a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily follow you wherever you go. If you're looking for a devoted little shadow to share your days with, Dottie may be the perfect match! Dottie is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heart worm preventative, and microchipped. Dotties adoption fee is $375.00. Please go to our website aaprescue.org to learn about our adoption process.
