DOTTIE (aka DIAMOND)'s Story
This is DOTTIE... Unfortunately she is returning to our rescue on 1/20. Nothing to do with her, her family said she is fantastic but her Dad is moving to assisted living and she can not go along. The family who were supposed to take her have had some unexpected life changes and it is no longer a possibility. She's a spayed, adult female mixed breed, medium size. Very quiet, sweet and easy going. Totally house trained and crate trained. Good with children. No idea about cats (but I would probably say no as she's territorial) and prefers to be the only dog. The family says she's a great watch dog, and alerted them when a strange man came around saying he was from the utility company but really wasn't... she let him know he was not welcome in no uncertain terms and he needed to leave!<br/>She was an owner surrender at Greenville County Animal Care in SC where they are having to euthanize for space. She was hw positive but she has already had her treatment and is now heartworm NEGATIVE. She is one of the best dogs we've had so far and they are all pretty darn good.
