At around 1 year old and 30 lbs, Dottie is the perfect “smedium” size for adventures big and small Dottie is a sensitive soul who finds the big, loud world a little overwhelming at times But her true personality shines brightest when she's around other dogs and someone she trusts <br/><br/>She requires a home with an established, confident, and playful dog sibling ‍ She has lots of puppy energy and loves to roughhouse Having a canine mentor helps her build confidence and gives her someone to watch, learn from, and follow. She's still learning how to be a brave girl—and she wants to get there <br/><br/> The good news? Dottie already has a great foundation:<br/> Fully potty trained<br/> Kennel trained (she sleeps there and stays when you're away )<br/> Doing well on walks and improving on leash <br/> Has done well off-leash with a trusted dog buddy <br/><br/> She's highly food motivated (aka snacks = instant friendship ), which makes training fun and effective! She takes treats gently and enjoys pets and scratches once she feels safe <br/><br/>Dottie would thrive in a low-pressure, patient home She's not going to be a lap dog right away—and that's okay.
