Well Hello Dottie - You Cutie! At around 1 year old and 30 lbs, Dottie is the perfect “smedium” size for adventures big and small Dottie is a sensitive soul who finds the big, loud world a little overwhelming at times But her true personality shines brightest when she's around other dogs and someone she trusts

She requires a home with an established, confident, and playful dog sibling She has lots of puppy energy and loves to roughhouse Having a canine mentor helps her build confidence and gives her someone to watch, learn from, and follow. She's still learning how to be a brave girl—and she wants to get there

The good news? Dottie already has a great foundation:
Fully potty trained
Kennel trained (she sleeps there and stays when you're away )
Doing well on walks and improving on leash
Has done well off-leash with a trusted dog buddy

She's highly food motivated (aka snacks = instant friendship ), which makes training fun and effective! She takes treats gently and enjoys pets and scratches once she feels safe

Dottie would thrive in a low-pressure, patient home She's not going to be a lap dog right away—and that's okay. She needs time , understanding, and a calm environment where she can decompress and learn that new things aren't so scary

If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/ The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.
