Dottie's Story
Dottie had a rough start in her early life. She was severely neglected as a young pup and was locked in a small (too small for her) crate 24/7 with little social interaction. Her foster has been able to get her out of her shell in her new environment with patience and love.

From Dottie's foster: "Dottie, an incredibly sweet girl, initially seems a bit shy and anxious. However, she quickly warms up to her surroundings. She's crate-trained and potty-trained (she rings a bell to signal when she needs to go). She's also learned how to go up and down the stairs and how to sit and give paw. Her food motivation makes training her enjoyable. Dottie adores her humans and her foster brother, with whom she spends countless hours playing. She loves toys, but her favorite are balls. Once she feels comfortable with you, she offers the most affectionate hugs. She leans her head right into you, looking at you as if to express her gratitude for saving her life. Dottie is a loving companion to kids and dogs and would be a wonderful addition to your family. "

Dottie would love to have her own forever family - someone who can give her some time to acclimate slowly so she can blossom as she has with her foster. Can it be you? Dottie Dottie is about 9-10 months old and 41 pounds.

Update: Dottie had tested Lyme positive and has already completed her antibiotic treatment. She is feeling great, running and playing with her foster family. Dottie is ready to go to her forever home.

We do NOT ship our animals.
