Dottie's Story

Meet Dottie — Short Legs, Big Personality! At 30 lbs and approx 7 mos old she is definitely a fun sized Basset mix!

Hi, I’m Dottie! I’m a sweet, affectionate girl with a big heart, a long body, and legs that were apparently ordered in the travel-size version.

My love language? BALL. Seriously, BALL IS LIFE! Throw it, toss it, roll it... I’m your girl. I could play fetch all day, every day, and never understand why you would want to stop.

I know how to sit, but I like to add my own special flair by sitting a little sideways. When you’ve got a long body and short legs, you have to work with what you’ve got!

I’m good with other dogs, love kids, adore people, and basically believe that every human I meet is a potential new best friend. I don’t need fancy toys, a big house, or a personal chef (although I wouldn’t say no). I just want to be where my people are. If you’re in the room, I’m happy. If you leave the room, I will be conducting an immediate investigation.

I’m also a good girl who is potty trained! I’m still working on my leash-walking skills, so we’re practicing those one step at a time. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and these little legs have places to be!

If you’re looking for a loving, playful, people-obsessed best friend with a goofy personality and an Olympic-level passion for balls, I might just be your girl.

Adopt me, love me, throw the ball, repeat.

Love,
Dottie

Please submit a no obligation application to schedule a meet and greet with this adorable, funny little girl!
https://form.jotform.com/223375266979068
