Dottie 's Story
Meet Dottie!

Dottie is a 9 month old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing about 70 pounds, and she still has some growing to do. She is truly a gentle giant with the sweetest, most loving nature. Although she is still a puppy, she already shows wonderful signs of being highly trainable. She’s very smart, eager to learn, and has a calm, submissive demeanor that makes her an absolute joy to be around. She loves to play but isn’t overly hyper, offering a really nice balance of energy.

Dottie does well with every dog she has met and is naturally respectful in her interactions. She is curious about cats and wants to play, but has never shown aggression. With proper introductions and a little time, she would likely do just fine in a home with a feline companion. One of her most endearing traits is how she gently comes over and sits as soon as you reach to pet her — she truly absorbs affection and loves every bit of attention she receives.

Dottie is currently in a foster home with children ages 5 and up and does fantastic with them, making her a wonderful family dog. She crates perfectly, sleeps through the night, and is fully house trained — such a rare and amazing combination, especially for a young dog. Dottie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and will go home with a health certificate. Calm, affectionate, and incredibly loving, it’s no surprise that everyone who meets her falls in love.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
