*PLEASE NOTE: We do not adopt out on a first-come/first-serve basis. Applications are accepted for a puppy and then a home check is scheduled. My name is Dot and yes...I have all the best spots on my adorable coat! Right now I am tiny but mighty! Not afraid to climb chairs or explore the great outdoors. Walking is great because I love to sniff everything! I am pretty smart for a young pup, have mastered crate training, and am working very hard to learn all the important things I need to know to be the very best new member of the family! I LOVE stuffies! I love to cuddle them and chew on them and carry them around...but beware...I'm not so good at telling the difference between my toys and fluffy slippers! What more could you ask for? I am a great walker, great player and all around great girl...my foster family tells me that all the time! If you would like to meet me, please fill out a preadoption application and a CDR volunteer will get back to you just as quick as they can!<br/>Cuddles and kisses-Dot<br/><br/><br/>**The ADOPTION FEE for this pet is $525 which includes getting the puppy/dog up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella vaccines, fecal test and deworming if necessary, heartworm test, spay or neuter (not including pre-surgical bloodwork) and a microchip. Free access to our weekly training classes is also included for the life of the dog, something no other rescue in the area offers.*

Chicagoland Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
First step is to decide if you are ready for a long term commitment owning a dog.   Ask yourself if you are ready for vet bills, cost of food, training the dog, and what would happen to him/her if you became ill. Once you have decided you are ready for the commitment, the next step is to come to an adoption show and meet the dog you are interested in. Sometimes people fall in love with a picture, only to find another dog at the show better suits what they are looking for.    Please remember to bring all family members, including dog(s), who live at the home to meet the new dog.  We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
