Dot's Story
Dot is a two year old terrier mix who made her arrival at CAHS on Valentines day. Alongside three other shy dogs brought to us from Louisiana by Bissell Pet Foundation, Dot has made great progress in learning to trust. She has come out of her shell in her time here, happy to show the world her blossoming personality. Dot can be quiet at first, but once she realizes you're a new friend, she will be all over you! She's quick to climb in your lap and give kisses or demand you play with her. She loves squeaky toys so we hope you've got a bunch of them! Kids who are old enough to respect her boundaries would be best as she acclimates into a home environment. Since arriving here, Dot has shown a bit of hesitancy with some dogs, so she may not be suitable for all canine friends. What better way to enjoy the changing seasons than with a furry friend to soak up the sun at your side? Come in and meet Dot today if she sounds like the perfect pup for you!
