We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.

Meet Dory. Your future cuddle bug and adventure buddy rolled into one!
Dory is a 1-year-old Staffordshire mix and a big love bug. At about 58 lbs, shes the perfect size for snuggling... which is great, because she fully believes you are her personal bed. This sweet, submissive girl thrives on companionship and just wants to be wherever you are. Shes all about an early morning run, exploring a hiking trail, or curling up on the couch for a Netflix marathon afterward.
Dont let her cuddly side fool you though, she has a fun, playful streak too! She loves romping around with other dogs and would really benefit from a well-balanced canine BFF to help show her the ropes. She currently lives with another energetic pup and is learning how to channel her excitement. When playtime is over, shes more than happy to flop over for belly rubs, often upside down with her paws in the air with her signature goofy grin on display.

Dory is both house and crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys her enrichment treats. She may start off a little excited on walks but settles into a nice pace with you. Shes a smart girl who is already making great progress with her training.

Like many young pups still figuring out the world, Dory has a few areas shes working on. She can be a little unsure around new people and may bark at first, but with a little patience and reassurance, she warms up and adds them to her fan club. She also sometimes barks at other dogs on walks, but shes improving with consistent guidance. Because she can be sensitive to sudden movements and unpredictable energy, shed do best in a home with older kids (10+) or adults.
Dorys ideal home is one that offers a balance of activity and relaxation where someone will take her on adventures, continue her training, and then enjoy plenty of cuddle time afterward. Shes truly the best of both worlds: playful and peaceful, silly and sweet.

If youre looking for a loyal companion who will love you deeply, keep you active, and make you smile every single day, Dory just might be your girl.

***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***

Interested in applying to adopt her?
