Dory's Story
Dory’s story started in a high-kill shelter in Oklahoma, where she and her babies were running out of time. This beautiful girl — who clearly has some Golden Retriever and Labrador in her (and probably a few other fun surprises!) — was underweight, sick, and exhausted when we pulled her to safety.

Thanks to the incredible care of her foster mom, Lori, Dory has completely blossomed. With good nutrition, vet care, and lots of tender loving care, she is now healthy, has gained the weight she needed, and has been spayed. She’s feeling like a brand-new girl and is finally ready for a forever family of her own.

Dory is about two years old and has so much love to give. She is currently 49 lbs and could have use a few more. She is:

• Fully potty trained
• Great with kids
• Good with cats
• Wonderful with other dogs

She will need a committed home that will continue working on her training. While she’s house trained, she does need some help polishing up her leash manners. She’s smart, eager to please, and with consistency, she’ll make fantastic progress.

After everything she’s been through, Dory deserves stability, patience, and a family who will love her for the rest of her life.

Out-of-state adoptions are available.
Meet and greets are held in Hales Corners, Wisconsin or Hustisford, Wisconsin.

For an application please email:
info@blackberrypointhaven.com

DS546403
