She arrived in rescue severely malnourished, but is now steadily gaining weight and thriving in foster care!<br/><br/>She’s an active, wiggly little dog who loves walks, mealtime, and happily trotting alongside her people wherever they go. So far, her favorite treats are scrambled eggs and cheese sticks! Dorothy is doing very well with both kennel training and potty training.<br/><br/>She’s wonderful with kids and enjoys interactive play and gentle wrestling sessions. Dorothy also loves the company of other dogs and has very polite leash manners.<br/><br/>Dorothy is a 1-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Dorothy is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home.<br/><br/>The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals.<br/><br/>We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!)<br/><br/>Please note, adoption applications are processed within 1–2 business days. Adoption applications cannot be processed onsite at adoption events.<br/><br/>Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525).<br/><br/>For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772 or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org.
