**WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTER HOMES** Homeward Bound Dog Rescue is an all volunteer rescue organization and all our dogs and puppies are in foster homes - we are not a shelter and do NOT have a facility where we house our dogs. You must fill out an application online as we do NOT accept applications at our clinics.<br/><br/>Dorotea is a 3-month-old petite Lab mix puppy up-for-adoption through Homeward Bound Dog Rescue of New York. She is a spritely little 7lb pup who loves everyone and everything! She 's totally fine with the other dogs in the foster home of all ages and sizes. Dorotea engages them in play the minute she meets them, hopping like a little bunny! She 's only been in her NY home a little while after her travels from Puerto Rico where she was rescued and cared for by a wonderful organization.<br/><br/>Dorotea is a baby-baby puppy so the new owners will know they 're starting from scratch with crate-training and housebreaking.<br/><br/>If you 've been looking for a little pocket Yellow Labbie-type pup, look no further!<br/><br/>www.homewardbounddogrescue.com<br/><br/>Our adoption clinics are held one Saturday a month at our facility in Schenectady on John Street, located directly behind Boulevard Bowl (Erie Boulevard) from 10 am to 12 pm (directions are on our website). We require an approved application before we consider anyone for an adoption - so filling out the application is your first step. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email invitation to attend an adoption event. Different dogs and puppies go up for adoption EVERY WEEK so please feel free to visit the site and click on the Petfinder link for updates as we are adopting dogs out in between adoption events. Puppies and dogs up to 2 years old are $395. Dogs over 2 years old are $295. 100% of the adoption fees go to help us save more dogs.
