DORIS's Story

Doris (A565394) is currently living in a foster home, and while she is safe and cared for, what she really needs is a place to call her own Doris is a 4-year-old Pittie mix who has settled beautifully into home life. In her foster home here in South Huntsville, she lives with both an older male dog and a younger female dog, and gets along well with both. She has also met a feline sibling and is more curious than anything, though the feeling is not exactly mutual. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves to play just as much as she loves to cuddle. Doris is incredibly loyal and happiest when she is close to her people. Whether it is following you from room to room or settling in beside you at the end of the day, she truly just wants to be part of your world. Doris has a beautiful black coat, white paws, and the cutest little underbite that gives her so much character. She is still working on potty training, but has already made great progress in her foster home and continues to improve with consistency. Dogs like Doris thrive in a home environment, and she has already shown how well she can adjust. Now she just needs a family of her own to continue that journey with her. If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion who will stick by your side through it all, Doris is ready to meet you. Doris is guesstimated to be 4 years old and weighs 50 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative. Ready to meet Doris? Please reach out to her foster at kkeadon@gmail.com. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
