Dori 's Story

Meet Dori
**Dori is in foster. Please contact via email at end of Bio! ***

Dori is a striking 14-week-old champagne fawn Doberman puppy who is already turning heads. From her unique coloring to those classic Doberman ears that do exactly what they want, when they want, she is full of personality and charm.

Dori came into the shelter at a very young age with significant leg issues. Whether she was born that way or the result of trauma is unknown, but she required casting on both legs early on. Thanks to prompt medical care and the dedication of her foster home at the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter, Dori has made excellent progress and is doing remarkably well.

Despite her rough start, Dori is a happy, resilient puppy with a bright future ahead. She is friendly and social, does well with other dogs, and has also done well around cats. She is crate trained and follows a good potty routine when kept on a consistent schedule, and she continues to improve every day.

Dobermans are rarely seen in rescue, and Doberman puppies are even more uncommon. Dori is expected to grow into a large dog, so she will do best in a home prepared for the needs, training, and activity level of a large-breed puppy.

Dori’s beginning may not have been easy, but she is thriving now and ready to find a home that will continue to support her growth and success.

If you are interested in meeting Dori, please email Jnasbigdawgs@yahoo.com
