Dora's Story

3 y/o Dora was rescued from the city shelter along with her sister/daughter? They had been living in a shopping cart of a homeless woman. HBHR had been getting reports and pictures for months about these girls when they finally showed up at the shelter.

Dora has impeccable house manners...never has had one accident. She is kenneled during the day while her foster Mom is at work and is fine with that.

Dori (as her foster Mom calls her) loves to play with another beagle in her foster home and totally enjoys their hunting escapades in the yard. Dori takes hunting very seriously and can be vocal about it. She is learning to quiet down when told to. For a ‘hunter’, it is surprising that she basically ignores the cats that live in the house.

Dori is learning to walk on a leash and is catching onto leash manners quickly. She is a smart girl and can be very affectionate. She sleeps as close to her foster Mom and the other beagles as she can. This adorable young lady will make a great addition to any family!
