Meet Handsome DOOLEY! <br/><br/>This smart & playful boy is gonna bring lots of joy, zest & adventure to somebody's life! Dooley such a loving boy & will make a great companion and family dog! Dooley's estimated birthday is 1/1/26 & his estimated adult weight is approximately 70 lbs. <br/><br/>Dooley is good with other dogs but can be overbearing with his puppy energy so he would need a dog that matches his energy & loves to play. He is doing well with leash manners & commands. Knows sit, wait, look, down & loves to play fetch. Retrieves & drops ball for another toss! Dooley is a very smart boy & the perfect age for training! Learns fast! <br/><br/>Loves EVERYBODY! Be ready for puppy behaviors, energy & be willing to giving needed leadership & training! Puppy obedience classes recommended! Dooley will make someone a great companion, family dog, buddy for someone that is active & adventurous! Recommend children to be least 8 years old due to his puppy behaviors. Dooley will need patience & time to adjust, as any new dog in a new environment. Food/treat motivated & loves mealtime! No resource guarding of Anything! Dooley still has a rare potty accident if he you do not pay attention to his signals, therefore, will need continued reinforcement for complete success in his new home! <br/><br/>Dooley is up to date on vaccines, neutered, crate trained & microchipped. Dooley's breed mix description is a according to his Embark DNA results: 70% Pit Bull Terrier, 15% German Shepherd Dog, 15% Siberian Husky. Streethearts Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please EMAIL streethearts.animal.rescue@gmail.com if you are interested in a dog & will reply as soon as possible & send you an application. It helps if you tell us a bit about yourself with your initial email so we will have a better grasp about if you are a good fit for the dog you are inquiring about. Please DO NOT call the phone number! We only do dog meets with an approved application. Once an application is approved, we will set up a meet with your family & any animals you have. The meet is usually at your home. If the meet goes well, you will have the option to do a 2 week trial with the dog with an expected $100 deposit which will go toward the adoption fee. If you do not adopt, you have the option of a refund of your deposit. We hope we have the dog you are looking for that will be a wonderful companion!
