DOOGIE's Story

At just 15 weeks old, Doogie has already proven he’s a tiny fighter with a huge heart. This adorable little guy came into a rural shelter with his littermates. As the runt, he was very malnourished and needed extra TLC. Thankfully, one of our amazing veterinary technicians and foster families stepped in to help him grow strong, healthy, and ready to find his forever home.

Doogie is a small breed mix and we anticipate he will stay on the smaller side, likely under 35 lbs at maturity (estimate only). What he lacks in size, he more than makes up for in personality! He loves toys, gets the cutest zoomies, and has the sweetest little run that will instantly make you smile.

He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and currently lives with both cats and dogs. While he’s curious about his feline friends he just enjoys trying to play with them, and does not attempt to hurt them. Doogie is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is doing very well with house training, he just needs the consistency and schedule typical for any growing puppy.

Doogie truly steals the heart of everyone he meets. His gentle spirit, playful nature, and resilient start to life make him a very special little boy who is ready to bring love and laughter to his forever family. 3 1/2 months, 10lbs, dna test says Pitt chi

If you would like to meet DOOGIE please complete an application for adoption, copy and paste this link into your browser

https://fs17.formsite.com/adoptionscc/form1/
Any vaccinations/boosters due after adoption is finalized will be the new owner's responsibility. All animals are current at time of adoption but in some cases a booster series is required or a vaccine cannot be given due to age and cannot be completed prior to adoption

Our adoptable animals come to us from various sources, the most common being from an animal shelter who is unable to handle their physical or mental needs in the shelter setting but believe with the appropriate care, they can become adoptable.
