Sweet but shy at first—once he feels comfortable, it doesn’t take long to find that Doobie is a complete snuggle bug.<br/><br/>Doobie is housetrained and crate trained and walks well on leash. He has done well with the other dogs he has met so far. We think an adult-only home would suit him best as he will appreciate a less rambunctious environment.<br/><br/>He has been around children with close supervision and has done well, but new people can make him nervous.<br/><br/>Doobie has been neutered and has received a dental with a few extractions. He is microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Project Paws Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
First step is to fill out our adoption application. Then we do some reference checks/vet checks. If that goes well, we will do a phone interview, then a virtual home visit. If all goes well, then we will do a meet & greet with the dog and all family members/pets. If we all decide it's a good fit, then we fill out the adoption agreement and they can take their dog home.
