Meet fun and sweet Donna! Just looking at that super long tongue of hers should brighten your day! Donna had a rough start in life: she was living with a family until she was 3 m.o. until one day she jumped off a high bed and fractured her spine. The family didn't want to deal with these problems, so they dumped her outside of their apartments. The volunteers picked her up, did all the medical treatments and rehab until she fully recovered. Donna is 3y.9m. old shepherd mix. She is very human-oriented and food-driven (needs to lose some weight for that reason). She's lived in a few foster homes with adults, kids, dogs, cats and even 2 guinea pigs! She can stay home alone (with other dogs) without issues. Good on a leash and potty-trained. She is a quick-learner and knows quite a few basic commands in Russian. She may be a little possessive over her food with other dogs, but otherwise loves to run and play with them. Donna has medium level of activity with two walks, but would benefit from having a fenced-in yard to run around and exercise more throughout the day. She well-socialized and is gentle with little kids. She is curious about cats and may come up to smell them. Donna is about 66lbs and 24.5inches tall at the withers. Vaccinated, spayed and healthy. Donna is flying to the US mid-February and would love to have her forever family take her home! Adoption fee is $600.
