Domino-Centerville, TN's Story
Location: Centerville, TN

Please meet Domino,

This handsome gentleman is 9 years old, weighs about 80 pounds, and is searching for a loving new family through no fault of his own. Due to a divorce and changing circumstances, his owner is no longer able to provide the veterinary care he needs, and wants to make sure he finds a home where he can continue to be cherished.

Domino has spent his entire life being a beloved family companion. He is a friendly, easygoing boy who gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children when properly introduced. His sweet nature and gentle personality make him the kind of dog who fits naturally into family life.

At home, Domino is well-mannered and house-trained. He has never needed a crate and is accustomed to being a trusted member of the household with access to indoor comforts. His favorite things are simple: a cozy place to rest, people to love, and being included in daily life.

Like many senior dogs, Domino has developed arthritis in his hips and is in need of veterinary care and treatment to help keep him comfortable. He is still a happy boy, but his future family should be prepared to address his medical needs and work with a veterinarian to improve his quality of life.

Domino also has a history of bladder stones. At just 18 months old, he underwent surgery to remove them and has done wonderfully ever since. Thanks to careful dietary management, he has remained stone-free for years. He currently thrives on a chicken-and-rice-based diet and should continue avoiding red meat, which can contribute to stone formation in Dalmatians.

Domino's Highlights:
Neutered and microchipped
House-trained
Good with dogs, cats, and children
Friendly, affectionate family companion
Never crate trained because he never needed to be
History of bladder stones, successfully managed through diet
Needs veterinary care for arthritis in his hips

Domino isn't looking for anything extravagant.
