With each passing day, he becomes more confident, playful, and affectionate. Watching him learn to trust and simply enjoy being a dog has been incredibly rewarding. His playful, gentle personality continues to shine brighter every day.<br/><br/>Personality and Daily Routine<br/>Domino lies quietly throughout most of the day unless he can find a willing playmate. He has a mellow, easygoing temperament and is an overall quiet little boy. He is not a big barker and is content simply being part of the family, making him a wonderful companion for a calm, loving home.<br/><br/>Outdoor Fun <br/>While he is quiet indoors, Domino absolutely loves to run and play outdoors! When he gets excited and zips around the yard, he will even hop like a bunny—it is guaranteed to make you smile.<br/><br/>Dog-Friendly and Ready for a Cuddle Buddy<br/>While he enjoys playing with other dogs, one of his favorite things is snuggling up for a nap with another little dog. He loves having a canine companion to cuddle with and would thrive in a home with another friendly small dog.<br/><br/>Background and Breed Estimate<br/>Domino came to our rescue from a hoarding situation, where he was confiscated from his previous owner along with 19 other dogs. We are not sure of his exact breed, but we believe he may be a King Charles Spaniel mix. <br/><br/>Training and Socialization Needs<br/> House Training: Domino is taken outside multiple times a day and does not have accidents in the house.<br/> Leash Skills: He is not currently leash trained and will need help learning this skill.<br/> Kids and Cats: He has not been around children or cats since joining our rescue.<br/> Socialization: He is very sweet but very shy. He needs an adopter with the patience and time to invest in teaching him social skills. He needs time to learn he can trust, but he will make a fantastic little friend.<br/><br/>Health and Location<br/>Domino is neutered, current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and ready to find the forever home he has always deserved. He is located in Canyon Country, CA (Southern California).<br/><br/>If you are looking for a loyal little companion with a gentle heart, a quiet spirit, and so much love to give, Domino may just be your perfect match. He is a sweet, sensitive soul. All he asks for is a family who will cherish him and continue showing him the kindness he is finally beginning to know. He needs a patient family who will give him the time he needs to feel safe and secure as he transitions into his new home. He would also benefit greatly from positive reinforcement training to help him learn the basics and boost his confidence.
