ADOPTION PROCESS: 1.Search adoptable animals & complete application. 2. Application Processing Team will review/process application, conduct background screening & contact vet/personal references. 3. Foster provider schedules a “meet & greet" with applicant. Resident dogs & ALL people (including children) living or frequently visiting the applicant's home are REQUIRED to attend the meet & greet. 4. If the foster provider & adopter agree to move forward, a home visit will be scheduled. Long-distance adopters can request home visit prior to meet & greet to avoid multiple trips. 5. After the home visit is approved, payment & adoption contract will be completed. You will receive your contract via e-mail from DocuSign & your invoice via e-mail from PayPal. PayPal can be paid by credit, debit or PayPal account (you do NOT need a PayPal account). 6. Once payment, adoption contract, & age-appropriate vetting are complete, the new owners can pick up their pet! Adopters are required to bring their own leash & collar at pick-up. Rude, negative and harsh conduct towards MSAR volunteers will not be tolerated & will result in dismissal of an application. Mending Spirits Animal Rescue will adopt to any location.
