Dolly's Story
Sandy and Joe Gores 810 Cottonwood Dr Lincoln NE 68510 402-601-0517 swalsh121@aol.com

Dolly is quite the character. We are not sure what she is a mix of. She has the wire hair of a terrier and the body of ??? We just are not sure. She is long with short legs. Dolly is 27lbs but she is also over weight and would be better at around 20lbs. She was surrendered to a local shelter just scared out of her mind. What we know after the first week is that she is a lover. Dolly wants to be where you are. She also LOVES the couch. Dolly is about 2 yrs old and where told pee pad trained and we have seen her use the pads but working on her going outside more. Not sure why she is not to comfortable outside but the loud sounds scare her and she just wants back inside and on the couch. We where told she lived with other dogs and cats. So far she we have not seen any aggression in her. The first time her foster left she did have some anxiety but that seems to be getting better the more she trust. Belly rubs and some kisses are her favorite thing along with couch snuggles. A home with people around a lot would be great for her. Small kids that would run and get excited are not a fit for her.
To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $200 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs.
