Dolly's Story
Dolly is a sweet, approximately 5-year-old miniature schnauzer in search of her forever home. She was found as a stray. Though she was in rough shape when rescued, her microchip helped reunite her with her previous owner. Sadly, due to serious health concerns, her owner had to surrender Dolly to the rescue. Thanks to the support of BCAA, Dolly is now ready for her next chapter. When she was first rescued, she had severe mats and had to be shaved down, but her beautiful coat is already growing back. One of her most striking features is her gorgeous blue eyes! Dolly weighs 15 lbs and is on a diet to reach her ideal weight. She enjoys going for walks and is motivated by positive attention and exercise. She gets along well with other dogs she meets and has shown no interest in bothering cats. She is crate-trained, keeping her space clean and tidy, though she prefers being out and about with her humans and will happily let you know when she wants attention. Dolly is past the puppy stage, calm, affectionate, and ready to become a loving companion. If you'd like to meet her, please fill out an application at www.bcaaofnj.org
