DOLLY 425's Story
Meet Dolly!

Dolly is a 10-week-old mixed breed puppy weighing about 13 pounds, and she is typical puppy with atypical cuteness! This little girl is absolutely adorable and has the personality to match.

Dolly is a confident, adventurous puppy who isn’t afraid to check out new things. She loves exploring her surroundings and is always ready to see what’s next. She also gets along great with all of her foster siblings and loves having other dogs around.

When she isn’t busy exploring, Dolly is happy to settle in for some cuddle time. She loves to snuggle and be close to her people, making her the perfect combination of adventurous puppy and little cuddle bug.

Like any 10-week-old puppy, Dolly is still learning all about the world and working on her puppy skills. She is learning to walk nicely on a leash, working on potty training, and beginning to learn her basic commands. She is curious, eager to learn, and ready to soak up everything her people are willing to teach her.

Dolly is at that wonderful puppy stage where everything is new, everything is interesting, and every day brings a new adventure. Her forever family will need to be prepared for the patience, consistency, training, and supervision that come with raising a puppy.

Dolly may be small right now, but she has a big personality, a fearless little spirit, and plenty of love to give. She’s looking for a family who will enjoy watching her grow, help her learn, and give her lots of opportunities to explore, play, and snuggle.

If you would like to be considered as a potential adopter for one of our great dogs, please go to our website- (SEE PINNED POST) and submit an application. Our application process includes landlord approval and vet checks. Please make sure all of your information is current and accurate, including a valid email address and phone numbers. Inaccuracies and/or incomplete data will delay and/or cancel your application. We strive to process all applications in a timely manner, but with the high volume of applications we are receiving, it is taking anywhere from 1-3 weeks. You may be contacted via email if there are concerns or questions. Once all of your information is reviewed and if your application is approved, you will be notified via email. Submitting an application and receiving an approval does not guarantee you will be adopting the dog you applied for. Once you move to the meet and greet process, you will be contacted by the foster family to further discuss the dog, and answer questions you may have, and if applicable, a meet and greet will be set up at our adoption center. Meet and greets are only set up with approved applicants, and we require all members in the household to be present, as well as any current dogs in the home. Meet and greets take place at our adoption center located in New Berlin. If you are proceeding with adopting a Lucky Mutt, we will require the dog to have a Martingale collar at the time of adoption, to ensure the dogs safety during the transition to a new home.

Current Adoption Fees Are:
$425+tax for puppies to 3 years old
$375+tax for ages 4-7
$275+tax for ages 8 and up
Bonded pairs vary

The adoption fee covers spay/neuter, up to date age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, general deworming, heartworm test, (if over 6 months) and a certified veterinary inspection. Please be aware, listed dog breeds are based on information provided and cannot be guaranteed. Submitting an application for a particular dog does not guarantee that you will be the applicant chosen, we receive several applications for each dog. Our adopters are picked based on the needs of the dog, and the home we feel with best fit based on your responses to our application, vet information and landlord requirements. Approved applicants not chosen for the dog you applied for, will be in active status for a period of six months. We encourage you to watch Petfinder, Facebook and our website for upcoming dogs. Should you see a dog that interests you, please send us a Facebook message or an email with your approval number. Please be patient with us, as Lucky Mutts Rescue is run strictly by volunteers and many of us work full time jobs, have families and also foster dogs.
