Name: Dolce
Age or DOB: 12 weeks old as of 3/8/21
Activity Level: Bursts of high energy with relaxing and naps in between
Things I do in my free time: Play. I love all toys but especially bones and squeaky balls. Fetch is my new favorite game! Naps are cool too. Now that its warmed up, I like exploring the yard and chewing on sticks too.
Things I know: Sit
Things I am learning: Crate training, potty training
Who do I live with: 2 adult humans and 2 adult dogs (1 male, 1 female).
Kids: I haven't met any yet, but I do like people. I am a puppy, so I tend to use my teeth when interacting with my humans, but not too hard.
Dogs: Big dogs are pretty intimidating at first but once I got used to them, I want to play and snuggle with them all the time. I am still learning boundaries and get in faces which can be annoying to the older dogs. I am pretty good at backing off when they tell me.
Cats: I have never met one but I am a puppy so I could likely be trained to love them.
Size: Small, about 15 lbs
Car rides: turns out I'm not a huge fan! I haven't been on many car rides but I do get a bit of car sickness. Hopefully this is something my tummy can get use to.

Dolce is a super sweet boy that wants all people and dogs to love him. He's very chill and loves to play with the other dogs but is also very content to play with a toy or chew on a bone by himself. The world is a big scary place so new things and loud noises tend to frighten him, but he adapts quickly. He's not very fond of his crate but we are working on it with crate games (Youtube “Crate Games” if you’re not familiar, it’s great!). He has not had a single accident in his crate since coming here which is awesome, but he does cry if he feels like he is missing out on something. Potty training is still going, he's getting better about doing his business outside, but we still have some accidents inside as he hasn't quite figured out how to ask yet. He is a very smart boy that catches on to things quick.
