Dogmeat is a dead ringer of his namesake from the Fallout games! He is a BIG handsome man and he loves to play with other dogs. He is great with cats, kids, and adults. He loves to go for walks and he knows how to sit and shake! He's a real gentle giant!!!!!!<br/><br/>Dogmeat does have allergies and is currently on relatively inexpensive medicines and special food to reduce the effects from his allergies. He may not always need the food but he will likely need allergy medicines and routine check ups the rest of his life. He is such a wonderful dog though so he's definitely worth the "high maintenance" aspect!
