She was taken to the vet for bleeding ears and signs of being attacked. She is recuperating at a foster's home. Doe currently weighs 40 pounds. Doe has been spayed and is up to date on her shots. <br/><br/>FOSTER NOTES: Doe is one of the easiest foster dogs we’ve had. She is very sweet and affectionate, calm in the home, and gets along with 4 other resident dogs. We don’t know if she was ever an inside dog but she has adapted well. She has had no accidents so far and sleeps all night in her crate without a peep. Doe will voluntarily wait in her crate for her meals to be prepped and served. She would probably like a playmate. She tries to get the resident dogs to play but they are all a good bit older and not much interested. Doe may be slightly unsure about new situations, but calm reassurance and coaxing will get her through it. She really is a sweet and special girl. <br/><br/>Meeting dogs is by appointment only. Please call the shelter (740/593-5415) to make an appointment. All adopters must bring in kids and other dogs in the household for a meet and greet before adoption.<br/><br/>Adoption fees are $125 ($65 for dogs 7 years old and older) and include dog license, basic vaccinations, heartworm test on adult dogs, and spay or neuter (ARRIVED 4/24/26)
