Dodger

Dodger is an adorable 8 month old, 7 pound, red short haired dachshund puppy - he's got a white belly and chin, and subtle darker red dappling on his back. Dodger came to our rescue from his original family when his owners mother who has severe dementia moved in with her two large support dogs. It was not a good mix. Dodger is all puppy energy and love. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He loves other dogs, and needs a dog playmate in his home. No young children please. No small animals - dachshunds are notoriously prey driven and will hunt! Dodger has been working on his potty training and has been doing well, but he will continue to need work and training! Dodger absolutely hates being crated, although he does well when gated in our kitchen with a pee pad.
