Woof Ave Rescue's Adoption Policy
We require an approved application, which can be obtained at our location. We prefer to meet potential adopters in person. We require vet checks to ensure the rescues will be going into a home that will provide regular wellness checks and continue preventive care (such as heart worm and flea prevention).
Once approved, we give the option for foster to adopt. This means before you agree to commit to one of our rescues, you can take pet home for a limited amount of time to ensure the pet will be a good fit and you a good fit for pet.
Our adoptions are first come, for approved adopters.
