Doc 's Story

Doc is a 5-year-old Norwegian Elkhound. 💙

This sweet boy spent most of his life tied outside, but you’d never know it from his loving personality. He absolutely adores people and is always ready for pets and attention!

When Doc first arrived, he tipped the scales at 92 pounds — quite a bit more than a healthy Elkhound should be. Thanks to a proper diet and exercise, he’s already on his weight-loss journey and doing great! He’s still a little chonky and will need a family committed to helping him continue getting fit and healthy 🐕‍🦺

🐶 Dog-friendly
🚫 No small animals (no cats, chickens, or other little critters)
💙 Loves people
🏃 Needs a home that will keep him active

Doc is ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter as a beloved indoor family member. If you’re looking for a loyal, fluffy walking buddy who just wants love and a comfy place to nap, Doc is your guy!
