Doc's Story

Meet Your New Emotional Support Grandpa: Doc!

At 12 years young, this distinguished gentleman has retired from all unnecessary drama. His hobbies include supervising men, gazing at them like they personally invented bacon, and quietly following them from room to room with unwavering devotion.

Doc is house trained, gets along well with other dogs and respectful kids, and is perfectly content with a laid-back lifestyle. Need a road trip buddy? He's an excellent passenger—no backseat driving, just happy snoozing and occasional soulful glances to remind you that you're his favorite human.

Doc has a small heart murmur, but his veterinarian isn't concerned at this time. His heart may have a tiny extra soundtrack, but it's still overflowing with love.

This sweet old guy came to rescue after becoming sick and depressed in a shelter, and now he's ready for the happy ending he deserves. All he's asking for is a comfy bed, a kind man (or anyone willing to spoil him), a few tasty snacks that may or may not come from your plate, and someone to love with his whole heart.

If you've ever wanted a loyal shadow, a certified road trip companion, and the eyes of a hopeless romantic, your search is over.

His adoption fee is $150.
