Hi, I’m Doc., I am a very loyal boy. I love to be with my people and am always excited to see them. I enjoy any activity where I can be with my humans. I promise I will get attached to you very quickly. My foster mom says I’m very loving. I am wary of strangers and don’t like to be startled so I need proper introduction when meeting new people. <br/> <br/> I would do best in a home with older children who won’t startle or surprise me. I run and play well with other dogs so I could be in a home with other dogs but would be perfectly happy being an only dog. I share my toys, but I do have some food resource guarding issues, so I need to be fed separately and given treats separately. I take treats very gently. <br/> <br/> News alert! I can live in a home with a cat, I used to live with one and love them. I love to run around the back yard and chase squirrels up the tree. I love squeaky balls and I like to play tug-o-war. I am crate trained. I whine a little bit when you put me in but that’s only because I want to be with you. My foster mom thinks it’s cute that I love to watch TV with her, and I really do follow all the action. Then I curl up with her and my foster dad on the couch and I am so happy. Movie nights are my favorite. <br/> <br/> I do ok on a leash, but I pull sometimes so I just need someone to work with me. I know basic commands. It would be great if you could teach me more. <br/> <br/> I need an owner who will l be with me as much as possible, who will snuggle with me and will be my pack leader.
