This incredibly sweet and intelligent boy absolutely adores being around his people and thrives on companionship.<br/>DJ came to our rescue after his beloved owner passed away, and he’s been adjusting to a lot of change. Because of this, he forms strong bonds with his humans and is looking for a home where he can feel safe, loved, and secure again.<br/>Personality: DJ is gentle, affectionate, and wonderful with both people and other dogs. He’s happiest right by your side—whether you’re relaxing at home or heading out for a walk.<br/>Training & Skills:<br/><br/>Leash trained and enjoys outdoor time<br/><br/>Very smart and eager to connect<br/><br/>Appears to be housebroken with consistency and has had no accidents since his first night in foster care<br/><br/>Ideal Home: DJ would do best with a patient, understanding family who can help him work through some separation anxiety. He’s not a good fit for apartment living, as he may bark when crated.
