Meet Dixie Rose<br/><br/>Dixie Rose was rescued from an abandoned property, along with all of her pups, who have now been safely placed into foster or forever homes through FCR. <br/><br/>Dixie Rose has been through a lot in her life but is showing great progress! She is resilient, intelligent, and very sweet-natured. She wants to be loved, reassured, and is definitely a people person. <br/><br/>Dixie Rose is learning leash manners and is looking for a patient handler. She needs to be shown the ropes of this new-found life. She is amazed at the food, water, and treats that now come so freely to her. She loves car rides and hops right in when she's ready to go! She is getting used to the water and enjoys splashing around. <br/><br/>Loud noises and sudden movements can sometimes throw her off, but once loved and reassured, she is back to her sweet loving self. Dixie Rose responds well to praise, soft voices, loves to be told she's a "good girl."
