Dixie's Story

Dixie spent the first three years of her life living outside in a 10x10 pen. Her owner surrendered her when he realized he could not provide her the life she needed and deserved. Dixie is doing great adapting to an inside dog life and absolutely loves attention and cuddles. She has a true golden retriever personality and is as happy as she is beautiful! Her current foster did a wonderful job with allowing her to decompress which resulted in a great relationship with the resident cat and dog. Dixie will need basic training but in true collie fashion, is a very quick learner! She is up to date on all of her shots and her spay is scheduled for next month (spay is contractually required for all adopters).

Dixie is ready for her forever family and will do well in any loving, patient, and affectionate household!
