Her owner was attacked by a larger dog owned by his neighbors and didn't seek medical help. That decision put him on life support and then into a nursing home and cost Dixie a very loving home. Dixie has been a pampered daddy's girl her entire life. She can be a bit bossy with smaller dogs and would do better in a home where she can be the baby of the family. She LOVES people, especially children, and would make a good family pet. She's housebroken and quite well-behaved.
