Dixie is ready to travel to a community that will truly cherish her as a family member. She is currently in Oklahoma at our rescue. Because we want her transition to be as smooth as possible, we arrange direct-to-adopter transport to specific cities (listed below!).<br/><br/>Adoptions are finalized in advance so that Dixie can hop off the transport and right into your waiting arms. At around 20 pounds, she is the ultimate "low-rider" packageall the charm of a Corgi mix in a perfectly sized, portable bundle.<br/><br/>Her Personality<br/>Dixie is 3 years young, but she still acts like a playful pup! While she can be a little cautious when meeting new people, it doesn't take her long to warm up. In fact, she did absolutely perfectly with a brand-new friend who took her videos, proving that with just a touch of patience, she is ready to trust and bond.<br/><br/>House Manners & Crating<br/>Dixie is an absolute dream when it comes to her indoor manners:<br/>Kennel Champion: She has never made a mess in her kennel. She takes great pride in keeping her space clean!<br/>Crate Approved: She doesn't seem to mind being in her crate at all, making her a great candidate for structured routine and quiet time.<br/>Toy Preferences: Dixie isn't really a toy kind of girlshe prefers the company of her humans and exploring the world around her instead.<br/><br/>On the Go & Other Pets<br/>Leash Walking: She is already practicing her manners and can walk nicely on a leash.<br/>Dog Friendly: Dixie does great with other dogs and is happy to share her space with canine companions.<br/>Cats & Kids: While she hasn't lived with them yet, we are happy to test her with children or cats upon request to ensure she is the perfect fit for your home! Tested heartworm negative in early May.<br/><br/>Safety First: To ensure she is in tip-top shape for her new family, she will be microchipped and receive a fresh fecal exam and a certified Health Certificate, all performed within 10 days of her transport date.<br/><br/>Adoption Details<br/>Dixie adoption fee is $1,200.
