Dixie

Dixie is an absolute delight! At just about under a year old, Dixie is a docile and low key doodle girlie who just wants love and affection. She will sweetly stare into your eyes to demand your attention and then gently lay down and roll onto her back so you can give her lots of belly rubs. She has attended two events with other dogs from the shelter and done great interacting with other dogs. Dixie confidently walks up to new people and is curious about her surroundings. She's a quiet observer but cant wait to explore her new home and she's hoping its with you!<br/><br/>You can find Dixie at Beacon Animal Rescue in Ocean View, NJ! Beacons mission is to rescue, shelter, and find loving homes for cats and dogs; to educate the community about responsible treatment of companion animals; and to promote the practice of spaying and neutering in a no-kill environment. All our dogs come spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and medical records, along with a free wellness exam from our veterinary clinic within 30 days of adoption. <br/><br/>If you have any dogs in the household already, we require a meet and greet between the pups to make sure they will get along! All dogs can be cat tested upon request as well, unless the dog has already been tested, which will be marked on their profile.
