Dixie is just one of the many cattle dogs currently at the shelter, looking for her forever home! This sweet 2 year old herder is SO very sweet! She wants all the pets that your hands will allow, and will sit with you as long as possible to receive them. Don’t get her wrong, she loves to play and going on walks, too... but a good brushing from her human, while enjoying a Kong filled with goodies may just describe her perfect day! Dixie is happy, she loves playing with other dogs in playgroups here and came from a home with other dogs, getting along with all of them wonderfully! This social butterfly loves to greet everyone she comes into contact with and she is hoping that her next greeting will be made to her new and forever family! Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness. Please bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family member home. We are located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC.
