Born February 15, 2024, this young sweetheart sadly had to be surrendered when her owner’s health issues worsened due to dog hair. Her family was devastated to let her go — she was truly loved.<br/>Dixie is settling in beautifully and already has a fantastic start:<br/>Potty trained Doggie-door trained Knows sit, lay down, and shake Loves belly rubs and affection Loves toys — especially catch and tug-of-war Great with treats (not picky!) Eats only her dog food — never had table scraps<br/>Home & Environment Notes:• Not good with small dogs• Unknown with cats• Had partial house access when alone, and full access when her family was home<br/>Dixie is still decompressing, and we’ll continue sharing updates as we learn more. Canine Rescue Coalition (AZ Mastiff Rescue)'s Adoption Policy
The adoption process is simple and we try to make it as quick as possible. The steps are as follows: 1. Fill out an application at one of our websites. www.azmastiffrescue.com 2. We will call you to do a phone interview. 3. We will conduct a home visit. 4. You meet our dogs and adopt. You must be willing to drive to meet our dogs. It is really the best way for you to choose the dog that fits you best. And it gives you an opportunity to meet all of our dogs. Occasionally, if a potential home is near where the dog is being fostered then the dog can be brought to meet you during the home visit. We work hard to insure that our dogs fit the homes that they go into. We will only place a dog into a home that fits. We make every effort for you to adopt the dog of your choice. However, due to the above it is not always possible. We will have a dog that fits your home so if the dog
