Dixey 's Story

Meet Dixey! She is a 6 year old bluetick coonhound female. She came to the shelter due to her humans having to move and having a new born baby. Upon surrender we noticed she had a BAD ear infection it has been treated! She walked with tender feet due to her nails being so long. She isn’t a fan of having her nails trimmed but with treats and an extra set of hands it can be done. She is very sweet, super laid back and likes cats! She walks well on a leash and spends most of her days sniffing all the scents and sleeping. She seems okay with other dogs but of course a meet and greet is always suggested! Her adoption fee is 86.00 cash only. To adopt Dixey please call 865-458-5593!
